A chair assembled like a puzzle.
Furniture is often called miniature architecture because it should have the same structural soundness that a building has. Japan has a unique, traditional technique for construction called kumiki (joinery), which is an interlocking system using no metal fittings. This chair is designed with this technique for its knock-down function. The joy of simple disassembly inspired the name Joynt.
